No paywall at the download button.
You spend an evening on your resume, click download, and a payment page opens. If that has happened to you, you are not alone, and it is not a mistake: some builders are designed that way.
TalentedCV is free from the first line to the finished PDF.
How to spot a hidden paywall
Before you put in an hour of work, check for these signs:
- “Free to create” or “free to try”, but nowhere “free to download”.
- A trial for a small amount that renews automatically as a monthly subscription.
- A credit card required before the first download.
- Free downloads only as plain text, or with a watermark on the PDF.
- Premium templates: the good-looking ones cost extra.
- Your resume is locked or deleted when a trial ends.
TalentedCV, checked against the same list
- Free to create and free to download, as PDF or Word.
- No trial and no subscription for job seekers.
- No credit card, ever.
- No watermark.
- All 18 templates are free.
- Your resumes stay yours: export them or delete your account whenever you want.
How it works
- 1Create a free account with your email address. No credit card, no payment details.
- 2Pick a template and fill in your details. The page beside the editor shows the result as you type.
- 3Download your resume as PDF or Word, as often as you need, and send it.
Questions
Why is it free? What's the catch?
Job seekers never pay. Later, employers will pay to find candidates who choose to be found. Nobody sees your profile unless you opt in, there are no ads, and your data is never sold.
Will it become paid later?
Not for job seekers. The features you can use today stay free. TalentedCV will earn money from employers who want to find candidates.
Do I need a credit card?
No. TalentedCV never asks job seekers for payment details, not at sign-up and not at download.
Can I take my resume with me?
Yes. Download it as PDF or Word at any time, and export all your data from the settings. Deleting your account deletes your resumes with it.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU. TalentedCV is run from Germany under the GDPR. Your resumes are private until you share them.
Ready when you are.
Free forever for job seekers. No trial, no credit card, no paywall.
