Make your CV for free. Download it for free.
In the UK, Ireland, most of Europe, India and many other countries, a resume is called a CV. Whatever you call it, TalentedCV builds it, and you download it without paying.
What goes into a good CV
- Your name, phone number, email address and city. A full street address is rarely needed.
- A short profile: two or three sentences on who you are and what you are looking for.
- Work experience, newest first, with results rather than duties, in numbers where you can.
- Education, then skills and languages. Language levels matter in Europe; say how well you speak each one.
- One or two pages. Send it as a PDF unless the employer asks for Word.
- A photo is not expected in the UK, Ireland or the US. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland it is still common, but optional.

Questions
What is the difference between a CV and a resume?
In most of the world they are the same thing: a one- or two-page summary of your experience. In the US and Canada, “CV” usually means a longer academic record, and “resume” the short version.
Is the CV maker free?
Yes. Every template and every download, PDF or Word, is free for job seekers, with no trial and no time limit.
Should I send my CV as PDF or Word?
PDF, unless the job posting asks for Word. A PDF looks the same on every screen. TalentedCV exports both, so you can send whichever is asked for.
How long should a CV be?
One page early in your career, two pages with more experience. Academic CVs are the exception and can be longer.
Do I need a credit card?
No. TalentedCV never asks job seekers for payment details, not at sign-up and not at download.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU. TalentedCV is run from Germany under the GDPR. Your resumes are private until you share them.
Ready when you are.
Free forever for job seekers. No trial, no credit card, no paywall.
