A resume builder that is actually free.
Many “free” resume builders let you write for an hour and then ask for money when you click download. TalentedCV doesn't.
Every feature for job seekers is free, including PDF and Word downloads, and it stays that way.
Everything is free
No trial, no premium tier for job seekers. You get all of it:
- 18 resume templates, one-column and two-column, all of them free
- Download as PDF or Word (DOCX), with no watermark and no download fee
- A free ATS checker that shows what applicant tracking software reads from your PDF
- Cover letters and a tracker for your job applications
- Import an existing resume from a PDF or your LinkedIn data export
- Share your resume at a public or password-protected link, or keep it private
- An optional AI assistant, only if you add your own API key
How it works
- 1Create a free account with your email address. No credit card, no payment details.
- 2Pick a template and fill in your details. The page beside the editor shows the result as you type.
- 3Download your resume as PDF or Word, as often as you need, and send it.
Questions
Is TalentedCV really free?
Yes. Writing, all templates, PDF and Word downloads, the ATS checker, cover letters and the job tracker are free for job seekers, with no time limit.
Do I need a credit card?
No. TalentedCV never asks job seekers for payment details, not at sign-up and not at download.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free account, so your resumes are saved and you can come back to them. You only need an email address. You can export everything or delete your account at any time.
Will my resume get past applicant tracking systems?
Every template exports a text-based PDF with the words in reading order, which is what applicant tracking systems need. The free ATS checker shows what software reads from any PDF.
Why is it free? What's the catch?
Job seekers never pay. Later, employers will pay to find candidates who choose to be found. Nobody sees your profile unless you opt in, there are no ads, and your data is never sold.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU. TalentedCV is run from Germany under the GDPR. Your resumes are private until you share them.
Ready when you are.
Free forever for job seekers. No trial, no credit card, no paywall.
